What integration sessions include, and what they don't
Integration sessions are conversations about experiences that have already happened. They do not include providing, prescribing, administering, or supervising psychedelic substances. This is not ketamine treatment, a dosing session or a retreat, and it is not a recommendation to use psychedelics.
Space to reflect after the experience
A psychedelic experience can bring up memories, emotions or new ways of seeing things. Sometimes that feels clarifying. Sometimes it feels confusing, unsettling or hard to put into words.
Integration is time set aside to look back on what happened, make sense of the emotions or insights that came up, and think through what, if anything, you want to change afterward.
We work at a steady pace, with attention to how you are doing now and what would make day-to-day life feel more manageable.
- Put a confusing or intense experience into words
- Notice how it is affecting your mood, sleep or relationships
- Sort out which insights feel useful and which don't
- Choose realistic, practical next steps
For many kinds of experiences
Integration may be helpful whether your experience felt meaningful, confusing or difficult, and whether it happened recently or some time ago.
Experiences you want to understand
You came away with something that felt important and want help making sense of it.
Experiences that are hard to sort out
Parts of it still feel unclear, overwhelming or emotionally charged.
Experiences that were difficult
It was frightening or distressing, and it is still on your mind.
Shifts in perspective
You are noticing changes in how you see yourself, your relationships or your priorities.
Turning insight into action
You want support translating what you learned into steady, practical changes.
Wondering if it's a fit
The first appointment includes time to decide together whether integration makes sense for you.
Collaborative and individualized
Each session is shaped around you. Depending on what you need, we may spend more time on one of these areas than another.
Reflection
Talking through what happened and what stood out, in your own words and at your own pace.
Emotional processing
Making room for the feelings the experience brought up, including the uncomfortable ones.
Grounding
Simple ways to feel steadier in your body and your day if things still feel unsettled.
Next steps
Identifying small, realistic changes that fit your life, your values and your health.
An assessment, then we begin
The first visit starts with an assessment. It helps us decide together whether integration therapy is appropriate for you right now, or whether another kind of care would be a better place to start.
When it is a good fit, we also begin integration work during the same appointment.
- Your mental health history
- Your physical health history
- Current medications
- Current symptoms
- The experience you want to process
- Safety
- Your goals for our work

Common questions
Do you provide psychedelics?
No. I do not provide, prescribe, administer, or supervise psychedelic substances, and sessions never include dosing. Integration focuses only on experiences that have already happened.
Do I need to be an existing patient?
No. New patients begin with an initial assessment. If you are already a patient, you may not need a separate intake, and we'll talk about this before you book.
What if my experience happened a long time ago?
That's okay. Sessions can address older experiences as well as recent ones.
Is this an emergency service?
No. Integration sessions are scheduled, non-urgent appointments. Acute safety concerns or severe, ongoing symptoms may require urgent evaluation or a different level of care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
Are sessions virtual?
Yes. Sessions take place by secure video for adults who are located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Florida at the time of the session.
Ready to talk it through?
Start with an initial appointment. If you have questions first, call or text (215) 559-9962.
